Four Accredited Environments Built Around Your Child

Based on their initial assessment, your child will receive a customized program that is implemented in one of our four environments in the context of a student-teacher relationship built on love, compassion, and unwavering positive regard. Environments take place at our two campuses or through Community of Care to be experienced remotely at home or school.

The Hope School

Geared toward those who need help with regulating emotions, behaviors, or social interactions and who have been chronically unsuccessful in other environments. The families of these students may need support in navigating day-to-day life, most often due to the challenges managing emotional state and/or behaviors. Everything “looks typical” on the outside, but additional support is needed often with areas of specific academic challenge as well as behavioral concerns.

Typical diagnoses are those that are related to:

  • High Functioning Autism

  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder

  • Anxiety Disorders

  • Social and Relational Challenges

  • Behavioral Challenges

  • Specific Learning Differences

  • Lack of Self-Regulation Ability

  • Mood Disorders

The Ladder

Designed for students needing intensive 1:1 care due to medical concerns, behavior needs, or level of neurodevelopmental focus needed. These children vary in speech/language abilities, mobility, and independence in daily tasks.

Typical diagnoses are those that are related to:

  • Pervasive Developmental Disorder

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Genetic Conditions

  • Cerebral Palsy

  • Stroke Recovery

  • Learning and Language Delay

For all infants through age four, Foundations is built upon the latest information in neuroscience and child development research. The Foundations program offers a framework for delivering a highly enriching day, thereby maximizing optimum brain growth and development.

Compass Beyond

Built for older students who are looking for educational planning, vocational training, community enrichment, and home life readiness.

Our Metro-Atlanta Campuses
& Global Remote Services

Human connection and relationship, experiencing mutual trust, caring for plants and animals, being among trees that filter toxins and produce negatively charges ions, creating art, music, and food; these are just a few examples of more abstract interventions having the capacity to cause the release of hormones and neurotransmitters that foster attachment, empathy, generosity, healthy circadian rhythm, and sense of wellbeing.

Jacob's Ladder is so much more than a "facility" or an "institution". We have very intentionally built people and places of peace, beauty, joy, and healing. We endeavor to help others around the world do the same so that all children, young adults, and their families have access to the right care delivered in the right environment.
