Cerebral Palsy

The Interpersonal Whole-Brain Model of Care
and Cerebral Palsy

The Interpersonal Whole-Brain Model of Care can deliver specific stimulation to the areas of the brain most often affected by cerebral palsy. The brain can repair itself with three major factors: sufficient oxygenation, physiological support, and a targeted program of stimulation to foster new growth.

The key areas requiring dedicated attention in cerebral palsy include the areas of the brain associated with sensory input, sensorimotor interpretation, movement, and proper sequencing and mirroring of movement. It is never too late. Consistent input and stimulation through our model can create growth at any age.

Diagnoses We See

Cerebral Palsy can cause moderate to severe movement, muscle tone, coordination issues, sight and hearing challenges, intellectual disabilities, and seizure activity.

Environments for Students with Cerebral Palsy

Evaluation. Assessment. Individualized Plans.

Each client receives a comprehensive evaluation of their neurodevelopment, physiological health, learning style, and emotional, behavioral, and relational balance. The evaluation includes a global neurodevelopmental assessment unique to Jacob's Ladder of over 1,300 metrics. In addition, we conduct a comprehensive academic assessment, a nutritional consultation, and a qEEG brain map to determine regions of the brain that are struggling to communicate.

Based on the evaluation, each client receives a model of care tailored to their needs. This way, we develop the right neural pathways to reach each client's full potential.
