The Ladder Student
The Ladder exists for students needing intensive 1:1 care due to medical concerns, physiological health, behavioral challenges, or the level of neurodevelopmental focus needed. These children vary in speech/language abilities, mobility, and independence in daily tasks.
Typical diagnoses include:
Pervasive Developmental Disorder
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Learning and Language Delay
Like all four of our environments, students attending The Ladder will implement their individualized model of care each day with instructors that embrace our core values:

Within the full-time school placement, the ratio of one student to one teacher allows for individualization of program goals at a SAIS-SACS accredited and an SB-10 approved private school. All programs over 20 hours/week qualify as full-time school placement. Students involved in a one-to-one Intensive Programming Model have the opportunity to be a part of our group learning environments with strategic blending for social, emotional, behavioral, or academic goals, as well as the opportunity to graduate from an accredited school within 4 diploma tracks.
We have several small group classroom settings offering increased social and academic challenges with ratios ranging from one-to-one to four-to-one, all collaboratively working together with one lead teacher. Our Group Learning Environments (LE) seek to ignite a passion for learning and inspire our students to become enthusiastic and active participants in their education and pursuit of both current and future life goals.
Our students will be challenged to ask essential questions, while learning effective coping and problem-solving skills delivered through active modeling and practice of skill sets. Placement within a group setting qualifies as full-time and students have the opportunity for graduation from an accredited school within 4 diploma tracks.
As part of The Ladder framework, all students are provided with the opportunity for strategic blending within the group environments.
Additional Experiences For Your Child's Growth
Along with our four environments, we offer a variety of experiences to encourage neural growth so that children can reach their full potential. Experiences include music therapy, art therapy, summer camps, animal assisted therapy, neurofeedback, and integrated listening systems.
