Jacob’s Ladder is proud to offer our Neurodevelopmental Infant Stimulation Program. This program helps our youngest of clients not only meet their milestones, but also create a strong foundation for future language and learning to occur. The Infant Stimulation Program focuses on development of the foundational brain regions, through movement, play, peer interaction, tactile stimulation, and music. Through addressing the lowest levels within the brain, we are targeting development and integration of early reflexes, gross motor development, visual attention, auditory processing, fine motor abilities, and language development.
These critical components of brain growth develop primarily between conception and 15 months of age, and with the proper input and stimulation, are targeted to further develop a child’s hearing, vision, taste, auditory abilities, as well as movement and balance.
